Wore the wrong attire today. It was kinda hot and humid when I dressed up this morning so I decided to wear something light. Now it's raining and I'm freezing inside the coffee shop. My cousin said that there's this typhoon-looking formation southwest of Manila and we should be armed with an umbrella and jacket. GOOD JOB!!! I'm so ready for the rain! *sarcasm*
Infairness they're still in tiptop shape. From the blue suede-like leather down to the soles. The brand is true to its mission of delivering value for money - It may not be cheap but they do last. According to their website, every pair of FOR LIFE boots (which I believe is what I have) comes with a lifetime guarantee. You can have them repaired or replaced for the rest of your life -- Hmmm.. interesting.
My shoes do not even come close to half of this. Thanks to Lloyda Lim of FASHIONISTA FORTUNE COOKIE for allowing me to post her pictures. I got ashamed with my blog entry where I posted shots of my shoe boxes when I saw this. Fellow imeldistas probably raised their eyebrows on me on how few my pairs are. I'm so naive to think that this type of closet only belongs to famous celebrities.
How about you? How does your shoe closet looks like? Email me pictures :)
I love love love this pink heel-less doll shoes from VIRTUAL MAE
3 little words broke my heart though "out of stock" :(
I first saw the site when it was featured in STYLEBIBLE sometime last year but I've been hesitant to order shoes online as my feet size is not a consistent 5 (for some reason). It was until recently that I got to check out her site again, and boy did I go insane!
Here are the other pairs I fell in love with. What do you think?
I so want to visit her show room if she has one.
I'm kinda obsessed with wedges at the moment. I used to think that only the Spice Girls wear sky-high wedges. Well, I now think of myself as the 6th Spice Girl :p
Had an appointment with the shoemaker yesterday for my first MTO pair (Made to Order). I didn't know that it's going to be complicated. I had to choose all the materials - from the main leather, to it's inside lining, zippers and other accents down to the heels. Choosing and deciding is tricky as all the materials seems so similar. Especially when I had to choose the color *whew*
It's going to take 1 month and 1/2 at the most ... aaargh the agony of waiting!!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed on how the shoes will look like. I hope I picked out the right materials :)
Leather swatch of the first pair I'm having made :)
No, I didn't steal this pair from one of Snow White's little friends nor did I borrow this from Peter Pan - Peter Pan wears green shoes. Bought this for only SGD10 at the Bugis Night Market in Singapore. Looks kinda weird, but it makes up for its comfy-ness --- plus its so cheap so why not :p
I recently followed SCHU's twitter and joined their online promo. I seldom join promos as I don't normally win (make that.. never win) but since the promo was simply tweeting "@schu_shopI want to#chaseschu" for a chance to win P2,000 worth of SCHU gift certificate, I gave it a shot. Promo will end tonight (June 19) at exactly 11:45pm local time. I'm keeping my fingers crossed til then.
Here's an interesting Twitter promo that will start tomorrow. I dunno why but I'm kinda excited. Who knows, I might join this game.
Sharing with you guys, a couple of my SCHUs :) These are my "office shoes". It can go from corporate to casual-corporate look
My high school batch mates got together last Saturday at Bugsy's in Ortigas Pasig. The venue was quite disappointing. We were situated outside of the restobar as we had our reservation the last minute and it was said to be the only available area. Aside from the uninviting ambiance, the waiter (named Mark) was quite rude. The company of the girls made up for it though. It was a fun night.
Too bad I only got to take the pictures of these girls. I would have included everyone here. Everybody looked so darn good after 10 years. Gone are the awkward looking days. Makalipas ang isang dekada, eto na ang mga anak ng bagong milyenyo -- Assumption Antipolo Batch 2000 :)
We may not wear those black school shoes and white socks anymore but we're still the same girls - Fun and down to earth.
Some people think that wearing socks are for the old people with arthritis and rheumatism. LOL! I dunno why, but I like the socks & heels trend - Maybe because I do love wearing socks. I remembered how I love getting socks in different colors and designs as gifts and pasalubong. I don't usually follow the latest fad but I think this is one trend I'd like to follow :) I was actually wearing socks with my black wedge yesterday but I wasn't able to take a picture of myself.
What do you think? Would you rock your socks too?
I did some research and learned that this trend trickled down from the runway (Burberry, Christian Dior and Prada's spring shows) and is now everywhere... not so much in the Philippines though - given the weather we had the past months.
Some of the Hollywood stars are rockin' their socks too and I love it :)
