Exciting Project - done :)

If you've been a follower of my blog for a while, you would know by now how frustrated I get whenever I go shopping for shoes. It's either they don't carry a size 5 or it has already been sold out.  The solution? Have it customized to fit your feet :)
Around a month ago, I met up with a shoemaker for a MTO pair :) (click here).  I've been having a love affair with boots for quite sometime now and eventually fell in love with wedges too. So guess what I had made :p

My Inspirations were Giuseppi Zanotti and Dolce & Gabbana's Wedge Booties

Wedge Booties made of genuine leather (inside and out)

I love how comfy and light these babies are.  I won't tell you how much this cost me because if I do, local shoe designers might lose their business.  Funny coz these shoes cost less than the recent pair I bought in a bazaar made of synthetic leather.  This might be out on the market soon. Watch out for it :) The shoemaker's boss (her dad hehe) liked it and they asked my permission if they can have this mass produced and sell it under their brand.  I can't wait for my next MTO pairs :)

Dreaming of Leopards

I can go all day browsing SHOP STYLE's site.  Soon I think I will be tempted to order already.
I'm thinking of buying myself a pair of animal prints. The ONLY ONE (A zebra print) I've got is already worn out.

From Top to Bottom (left to right)
Jessica Simpson Pumps $78.95
Giuseppi Zanotti Booties $1,195
Christian Louboutin Sling Back Heels $925
L.A.M.B Platform Pumps $325
Kate Spade Charriot Pumps $398
Shoebox Classic Loafer $295
Jimmy Choo Flats $495
Tory Burch Wedge  $295

Locally, there are some nice animal print shoes from Janilyn - their latest collection is inspired by Louboutins (complete with the red sole) I don't have photos though, but do check out their shop in the malls. A pair is around Php1,500 - Php2,000.

Anne Hathaway's Shoes, Love and other Drugs

Who would forget Andy Sach (Anne Hathaway's character in Devil Wears Prada last 2006)? From being the plain jane aspiring journlalist who snagged a job as the junior personal assistant to icy editor, Miranda Priestly -- she gradually adjusted to the position and its many perks, including free designer clothing.  She begins to dress more stylishly and do her job competently.  I would like to be in her shoes (literally and figuratively)

Giuseppe Zanotti Copper Pumps
Louboutin Calf High Boots

Anne Hathaway starred in a lot of movies before and after this gig - The Princess Diaries 1 and 2, Ella Enchanted, Get Smart, Alice in Wonderland, Bride Wars among the others.  Now, Hathaway teams up with Jake Gyllenhaal for the second time (they were both in The Brokeback Mountain last 2005) for the upcoming romantic comedy "LOVE AND OTHER DRUGS" - a slap of the awe-stunning realities in adult relationships.
