     I fell in love with Anne Hathaway's custom Brian Atwood pumps in one of her 7 beautiful outfits during her hosting stint in the 83rd Annual Academy Awards Night. As per @theshoedish's tweet, it has 8,000 Swarovski crystals. Whoa!!

Alberto's Plastic Dreams

     Got P2,000 worth of Alberto gift certificate from the office last Christmas.  All the while I thought the brand sells only black school shoes (hehe sorry). Anyway I went to their store in Robinsons Galleria and I was surprised to see the newly renovated store. Well lit and inviting.  I used to just pass by and never bothered to peek inside. It's either I was wrong about the brand or they've made changes along the years. Contrary to what I thought, they also carry shoes for ladies and even have their own line of plastic shoes very similar to that of Melissa. The store attendant was also very helpful. He called up all their branches to check if they still have my size (I wanted to get the purple peep toe). Apparently these have been out for a while already and are on their last few stocks already.

     I came across Zhenya's blog, Closet Fever, which features the closets of different personalities in the US. I'm reposting shoe closet photos of top honchos in the fashion industry (international)  - well im not surprised that these ladies own such a collection. Imagine (a younger) Miranda Priestly of The Devil Wears Prada, in real life.
     The first 2 photos are my favorite. I used to put photos outside the boxes of my shoes before I started using transparent containers and I love the OC-ness of "cubby hole" type in the second photo

Block Heels

     Went window shopping last night and was successful on not buying anything ... anything for me that is. Haha! Bought the beau a pair of shoes which I'm now regretting coz I should have bought that beige pumps for me instead *selfish mode*. Anywhoo, I'm loving Topshop's Miu-Miu-ish "block heels". Who ever said bulky heels are not sexy?

     I think most of you guys (if not all) who follow my blog also follow, Honey of Somnium et Vita. Honey is one of the sweetest bloggers and friendliest person I got to know in the blogging world. We still haven't personally met but feels otherwise.

     I love Liam Neeson ever since I watched Taken. He seems smart and I think I would feel safe when I'm with him (Yeah I'm that girl who believes in the characters actors portray. hehe)  UNKNOWN is his latest action-suspense movie with Diane Kruger which is now showing in Philippine theaters. Watch this mind boggling movie which will take you at the edge of your seat. I'm not really into action movies but I actually liked this.

Only the Marvelous' Shoe Closet

     I've been a follower of Joanna Ladrido's blog, ONLY THE MARVELOUS, for quite sometime already. I find this young fashionista such a doll (sometimes in a literal kind of way).
     I've done quite a few features of shoe closets of different people (CLICK THIS) and JL was sweet enough to allow me to share hers too.

New Wedgies :)

     My 4th shoe purchase for the year and it's just the second month. Will I be able to buy only 12 pairs this year? I MUST!!! One of my 2011's resolutions is to save up and buy only what's necessary -- hence, i must only buy maximum of 12 pairs for the year (regardless of the price) - yep I can buy 12 designer shoes if I CAN :p haha
     Anywhoo, this pair made its debut in the market last weekend. As usual it's very comfortable. I'm so happy even though the size is a bit big for me. Cork lang ang katapat nyan :p hehe

Speaking of ballet, BLACK SWAN starring Natalie Portman in her award winning performance as the prima ballerina, will be showing in Philippine cinemas starting February 23. Be one of the first people to watch it in the big screen during its sneaks on February 14 and 15. Natalie Portman won best actress in the recently concluded Golden Globes. She's also nominated for the Academy Awards as well as Darren Aronofsky for Best Director and Best Picture.
