Dancing Shoes

     Wore my mom's dancing shoes last Monday. I've been looking for a nice pair of Mary Jane's for the longest time.  I was so disappointed when Forever 21 finally brought in their Miu-Miu inspired Mary Jane platforms but didn't have my size :(  I didn't know that dancing shoes are comfortable to walk with.

My Cinderella Shoes

I call this my Cinderella Shoes - the glass slippers that fit perfectly. 

     I attended the wedding of a former colleague and a good friend last Saturday.  I opted for something elegant and comfortable. A pair where I can stand and walk with the whole time.  I don't know why, but I always end up wearing this on formal events where I have to wear gowns (not limited to formal attires though).

     Her gown was lovely. Aside from the "hand-ripped frills" I loved how the white veil worked with the beige colored gown :)

     My Barbie doll's shoe collection looked like this. Pretty and colorful plastic Barbie shoes arranged neatly in little glass cabinets.  Poochie made it real - real life glass cabinets filled with pretty designer shoes.

     Ha! I knew my beau would be wearing his yellow sneakers (it's his favorite pair recently) so I wore mine too. Unfortunately he wore denim pants and not denim shorts. I was aiming for matching trousers too :) You can just imagine how annoyed he was when he saw me walking towards his car. I just gave him a big grin and a kiss.

TOMS - a pair for you and a child in need

     I've been thinking of buying a pair of TOMS shoes for quite sometime already and just because -- "With every pair purchased, TOMS will give a pair of new shoes to a child in need. One for One." -- I'll get a red pair for myself :) and maybe a matching pair for the beau too :) I ♥ that this brand have social responsibility.
