Oh sChucks!

     I used to be the sneakers kind of girl when I was younger and I actually still am.

I wasn't the girly girl kind and It was just until recently that my love for shoes evolved to not just rubber shoes and sneakers.

White Converse All Star Light (Low Cut)

I've been searching for the perfect white sneakers for the longest time, so the first time I saw this style in the stores sometime last year, It was love at first sight. I had this in my Christmas 2009 wish list but I ended up buying it for myself :p

Yellow Converse All Star Chuck Taylor (High Cut)

For the "emo-chick" in me.

I believe everyone has a pair of Chucks but I don't see a lot of yellow :)

My Shoe Storage

     I'm sitting on my bean bag when I noticed the building of shoe boxes outside my bedroom door, so I decided to take its picture (using my phone camera since I don't have a digicam anymore :c )

The transparent plastic box makes it obviously easier to see what's inside. Hence, easier to get what pair will go with your outfit.

I don't have enough transparent boxes to store my shoes. Plus my boots couldn't fit in it.

Shoebox

     While my beau and I waited for the screening time of our second movie for the day, we decided to go to the Cybermall thinking that the gadgets were there (My bf is kind of a gadget freak as I am a "shoe freak"). To my bf's dismay, there were only a couple of lousy gadget stores in that mall. There was, however, a big Shoebox store :)

     I think, Shoebox originally started with a small stall in Greenhills. Now they have stores in Eastwood Cybermall, Glorietta and even Rockwell.

     I originally wanted the pair in "magnet candy" pink and off-white colors but they don't have them in my size anymore.  Buying reasonably-priced shoes doesn't make you feel guilty when you buy more than 1 pair in 1 day.

Shoeology

     I'm in Eastwood Mall right now for our "Movie Marathon Saturday".  While waiting for my date, I wandered around the bazaar at the activity center where I saw the stall of Shoeology. They have nice oxford type of shoes - with unique and nice colors.  The shoes are made of soft leather (i think that's what you call it) and velvet-y material for the inside of the shoes making it super comfortable.

     I always tell Dan not to make me wait, especially when I'm in temptation Island :p  I believe it's a good buy though.

Cockroach Shoes

     Wearing this pair yesterday, it made me question why i even bought it in the first place :p.  I find the gold thing on top weird. It kinda looks like the icing on cupcakes.

I took the photos using my iphone. I have yet to get those camera apps that my friends are telling me.

My beau said that if my shoes were brown, they would look like a couple of cockroaches. LOL

Knight and Day

     Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz star in the action-comedy movie, Knight and Day which I was able to see in advance last June 21 at Trinoma. Fun movie for both the guys and the girls.  I still swooned over Tom Cruise, Cameron still has her charm.  Both have chemistry together.

I give this movie 3.5 shoes (out of 5)

Sunday Brunch

I usually sleep in on Sunday mornings but I had to get up today for a family lunch at The Fort.

Still a little hungover from my brother's birthday party last night, I slipped in the first dress I saw.

After lunch, we did a little family window shopping before going home.

at Charles & Keith Bonifacio High Street - no i didn't buy anything :) I'm trying to save up for my August trip. I plan to splurge in Hong Kong.

The salesperson asked me where I bought this, apparently they don't have this style here yet. Booyah!:P

I bought this at Charles & Keith in Vivo City Mall, Singapore just last month.

It was our last day and hours before our flight back I was feeling frustrated that I still haven't bought myself a nice pair of shoes to bring home. Since the brand is homegrown and is practically in every mall there (it's also a couple of hundreds cheaper compared from the price here in the Philippines) I decided to buy the first pair that catches my eye. Luckily size 5 fitted.

Aside from Face (Bradley Cooper) being the pretty boy, he also wears nice shoes.

I just noticed in the poster above that he's wearing nice "pogi" leather shoes while Hannibal (Liam Neeson), BA (Rampage Jackson) and Murdock (Sharlto Copley) wear those hardcore manly boots.

Yellow part is velvet like material - it gets dirty easily but you can just wash it with soap and water and it's good as new.

I know, I know, it's time to have it washed.

Parisian Sandals

I got to check out SM Department Store last night while waiting for my boyfriend.

Parisian, SM Department Store's house brand for ladies shoes, recently launched their new collection during the Philippine Fashion Week (June'10). The shoes from the collection are perfect for the fashionistas. However prices for the pairs are around Php1,200 which may seem too pricey for the brand. Usually, the price of Parisian ranges from Php300-Php800 only. The quality and style makes up for the additional pesos though. The other pairs seems to be photogenic but doesn't really look nice in actual.

For some reason, size 5 of the new designs are big for my feet :(

Shoe shopping never fails to disappoint me. I always find it hard to find a pair that fits.
