Tis the season for new Schus!!!

     Approximately 30 minutes before Dec 1 --- 24 days before Christmas. Start the month with a new pair of Schus. The brand just posted new items which will be out when shops open tomorrow (Dec 1).

     I think i'm going to get myself a pair of the black boots with buckles, grey pumps and the black and pewter heels. Goodbye 13th month pay! How about you, which styles do you fancy?

Driver-Photographer-Financier for the day.  Passed by the cemetery then went to the nearby department store to buy some christmas decorations for the house and the gym.  Hooray for the cool breeze. I now have an excuse to wear tights :) For some reason I love wearing tights and socks.

WANTED: Black Wedge Pumps

      This is so last season, I know, but I still want this. I think Aldo Philippines didn't bring in this particular style (or maybe i'm wrong--I never saw this pair in the local shops).  I asked the bff of my bf to buy me a pair from the USA since he was coming for a vacation but size 5 was not available anymore at the branches in his State.

Charles & Keith SG59.90

     I'd settle for this pair as an alternative for the Calcagni. I got to try a similar pair at a local Charles & Keith shop and I was surprised on how incredibly light and comfortable they are. -- well the wedge part is made of espadrille making it light. Too bad their size 5 is 1/2in big :( Oh, and this wasn't available too - just a printed blue one and black snakeskin-ish print which I was thinking of settling for until I saw this pair online.

     I forgot what brand this is (can't read the name stamped on it) but I saved this picture sometime ago as I was thinking of having it customized.  A project that didn't push through. 

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 1)

     Watched the advance screening of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 1) with the family earlier this evening.  I actually find it nice (dark, yet nice) considering I'm not a fan of the franchise. I like it better than the last Harry Potter (Half Blood Prince).  The effects and cinematography are excellent -- no need for the film to be in 3D :)

Emma Watson is looking very pretty and posh with her new pixie haircut (and hair color). 

     I love how flexible a black pair of platform pumps are. From casual outfits, office attire to red carpet events.  I noticed that black pumps are usually what celebrities wear during red carpet events.

     Emma Watson during the World Premiere of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince also wore black pumps - not as sexy as the pair she's wearing during the premiere of the latest movie installment though.

     I don't wear "sandals" to work as I don't think they're appropriate (even if the company I work for doesn't have a dress code) so I take the weekends as an opportunity to wear them. D hates this pair for some reason. Haha. Cheapest pair I have - If I remember it correctly, I bought this for only Php200. Yes that cheap, so I have this in other colors too. LOL. So how was your weekend?

How to Walk in High Heels

     I'm guilty of walking "gripping of the thighs" style. LOL. I should really learn how to walk properly when wearing heels. But some shoes are just too painful and uncomfortable, making you walk weird.  So why wear uncomfortable shoes? Fashion over comfort baby! :p

Oh, Jeffrey

     Sometime last month, I shared with you guys that SM Fashion Forum of SM Department store will be bringing in new and more edgy styles of Jeffrey Campbell shoes. One of which is the Foxy Wood in Leopard.  Well, God didn't answer my prayer.  I was able to check out the branch last night and the last pair (in size 7) was sold 5 minutes before I got there. I also learned that the smallest size they bring in is size 6. Boo!! So even if I was there when they launched them I'd go home empty handed.  Oh well.. there's got to be a reason why God didn't grant my wish. Prolly nicer shoes? Hehe Anyway. Here are the other shoes still available (Size 6 and up only)

     Since I was in Makati earlier this evening, I took the opportunity to go to Landmark Department Store and check out one of my favorite local brands, Carmelletes.  The brand has 2 new styles out this month.

Made of genuine leather for only P1,699.75

     I super love this Mcqueen inspired sling back booties. The platform seems to be made of cushion.  It didn't feel like I was wearing 5" heels. Considering that this pair is made of genuine leather plus the comfiness, this sells cheap for only P1,849.75. If all high-heeled-shoes are as easy to walk with as this, I will never wear flats :)

     I finally got to wear this pair I bought around 6 months ago. I was looking for my customized taupe wedge booties (which matches my jacket) this morning when I opened the wrong box and saw this instead.  I can't believe how comfy this pair is. I was surprised that I got to wear heels the whole day without getting blisters plus I was able to walk properly too. I love it. I will definitely be wearing this more often.

Finsk?

     OMG! local version of the Finsk wedge made its debut during the Philippine Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2011 last week. My Forever Rant :)

STAPLES : basic suede pumps - in royal blue, gray and black @Php1,450 (more or less - sorry i forgot the exact price)

They got size 5 in black. uh-mazing! LOL

Size 5 in gray too!!! Wheeee

     I first saw the gray one and was ecstatic that they have a size 5.  I then saw the black one and got happier coz again, they have my size. Then I saw the blue one. I got super excited as I've been wanting to own a pair in that exact color. D and I checked all the blue ones lined up...... and yep you guessed it right... there was no size 5 left :( Retail associate said they're all out. *SIGH* Story of my life. FOREVER no size for me at FOREVER 21. Haha - but then again they have size 5 for the black and gray. There's still hope :P

I just had to try on these boots even if they're not my size.

Do you guys find yourself doing that? - trying on shoes eventhough you're pretty sure they wouldn't fit. Hehe. (Ooops. My green flats wanted to be in the picture too)
